Physical science is an audience interactive performance and workshop for children. Two performers and a narrator invite the audience to join mad scientists on a movement adventure... Physical Science is an inclusive dance event where a performance and workshop are combined to deliver an interactive engaging performance that the audience becomes part of. The event is aimed at children of primary school age and ALL abilities. By combining performance with participation we ensure that all children can take participate, experiencing the joy of movement regardless of ability, gender or race. It was developed by a team of acclaimed contemporary dancers and choreographers, who bring high artistic value, fun and creativity to the project. The team also has professionals in Makaton, dance science and movement teaching, who support and contribute to the unique nature of this project.This performance project is the result of professional dance artists collaborating, researching and learning about various kinds of inclusive practice; learning Makaton and exploring audio description, which is still very rare in dance performances.
